PLAYGROUP.

Playgroup in our church hall has started again and this time a lease has been taken by Beachside Church. Playgroup is available to all and now runs every Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 11.30am free of charge.
Adults will be responsible for the care and supervision of their own children. If you wish to attend, please contact the office.
It is very exciting to see groups of children enjoying the facilities of our new hall.

A BAPTISM AND A NEW SIGN.

A very busy week in the life of the church.

A most wonderful baptism and celebration of members of our church family on Sunday 10th July.

On Monday 11th July, our new electronic sign was installed. We are now waiting for the electrical connection.

PATRONAL FESTIVAL AND BLESSING AND DEDICATION OF THE NEW HALL.

..On Sunday 26th June 2022, a service of dedication and blessing was conducted in the Hall by Father Phillip Hardie followed by the unveiling of the dedication plaque.
Special guests included Michael Hart MP, Daphne McDonald, Division 13 Councillor and Sue Coppack travelled from Victoria for the occasion. Sue had coordinated much of the forward planning for this project with Father Phillip.
This was all followed with a wonderful morning tea provided by parishioners.

The Chaplaincy of local schools held their annual fundraising Fashion Parade and Morning Tea at Rydges Hotel Coolangatta Airport.
The charity selected for 2022 is ‘Fight for Youth’, a local Youth Centre making a big difference.
This year the function was well supported by our parish.

PARISH LIFE.

BLINGO NIGHT 30-3-22.
As already mentioned this was a great evening.
Father Phillip and Claire were the Bingo callers and Kevin and Christine entertained us with some Italian songs.
Many thanks to all whom helped to make the evening a success and to be able to donate much needed funds for FLOOD RELIEF.
Christine made some incredible decorations and Jill organised food, raffles etc.

The Maundy Thursday Service at 5pm included a Washing of the Feet ceremony.

The Good Friday service conducted by Father Philip was a series of readings interspersed with verses of the hymn ‘My song is love unknown’
